With extensive experience in landscape architecture, as well as the construction and maintenance of green spaces, Balthazar positions itself as a credible partner and consultant. Prepared and motivated to deal with a multitude of challenges, the Balthazar team has a major project portfolio that attests to the quality of its work.
Balthazar was founded in 2021 to achieve its shareholders’ desire for a gardening and landscaping company that was designed with a modern and flexible vision that enabled it to respond effectively to an increasingly demanding market.
With this in mind, the company assembled a team with solid experience in landscape architecture, garden construction and maintenance, as well as other related services, which are supported by an operational and administrative management team.
In a business area that favours client proximity, our commercial strategy is based on experience and the many gardens our employees have designed over the decades. We also create synergies with our group partners regarding the integrated conceptualisation of large residential and hotel developments.
A UNION FOR SUCCESS
With a vast portfolio that includes projects such as Castilho 203, A’Tower and Infinity in Lisbon, Bayline and White Shell in the Algarve, as well as Terras da Comporta and Muda Reserve in the Comporta region and Foz do Tejo near the capital, Vanguard Properties is currently the largest real estate developer operating in Portugal in the premium and luxury segments.
In addition to real estate development, Vanguard Properties has been actively investing in the verticalization of the sustainable construction sector, in service companies namely in the area of facilities management, landscaping, as well as in investment management (collective investment bodies), and currently has around 800 employees.
The association between Vanguard Properties and Bruno Cazal-Ribeiro, a manager with vast experience in the landscaping sector, was therefore a natural step for the Group and is aimed at creating a company that stands out on the national scene.
Taking advantage of Vanguard’s large volume of projects and its recognized investment capacity, Balthazar Landscapers will thus have access to the necessary means to equip itself with the best and most advanced technologies available on the market in order to provide the high-quality services it aims to provide without compromising its growth potential.
With this in mind, Balthazar will soon have its own nurseries to maintain the more than 1,500 hectares that Vanguard Properties is developing in Comporta.
